Mission Statement:
At North Bay Media, our mission is to empower artists of all backgrounds and disciplines to explore, express, and share their creativity. Whether working in film, jewelry, poetry, painting, sculpture, game design, writing, or any other medium, we create a safe and inclusive space where people can connect, collaborate, and grow together.
We are strong supporters of authentic, human-created art. While we recognize the role of new tools like AI, we believe it is vital to protect and celebrate genuine artistic expression in an era where distinguishing real work from generated content is becoming increasingly difficult. We are committed to supporting solutions that help artists confidently present their original creations to the world.
We also believe that powerful stories shape culture. Through our production experience and resources, we support the creation of original films, short films, and meaningful content that gives voice to artists and community members whose stories deserve to be seen and heard.
As a nonprofit based in Sonoma County, we bring artistic excellence, teamwork, and respect to foster a vibrant creative community across the North Bay. We offer social mixers, hands-on mentoring, expert workshops, digital arts training, community showcases, and future plans for a dedicated Future Lab and annual festivals.
